FAQ
Building Q&A
We are so thankful for your prayers, encouragement, and generous giving to Feed My Sheep Ministries. Your partnership makes it possible for us to serve our community with love, dignity, and hope. We know some of you have questions about our recent decision to rent another building instead of purchasing one, especially since our building fund campaign is still ongoing. We want to be transparent and address those questions directly.
Why are we leaving our current building?
The building we have been renting has developed unsafe conditions that cannot be reasonably addressed while we remain there. For the safety of our volunteers, staff, and guests, we must move.
Why rent another building instead of buying our own?
We have been actively searching for a permanent building for several years but have not yet found a property that meets both our space requirements and budget. We remain committed to purchasing when the right opportunity comes along, but at this moment, renting is the only practical option to keep our programs running without interruption.
Tell me about the new building.
The new location is nearby, large enough to meet our current ministry needs, and better suited to our activities than our current space. The rent is also lower than what we are currently paying, allowing us to be better stewards of our resources.
What happens to the money in the building fund?
All funds designated for the building fund remain set aside exclusively for the purchase of a permanent facility. None of these funds are being used for rent or day-to-day operations.
Is renting just a temporary solution?
Yes. Renting the new building gives us a safe and functional place to serve while we continue to prayerfully search for a permanent home.
We are committed to keeping you informed and being faithful stewards of the resources God has provided through you. If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you for standing with us in this season of transition. We believe God is guiding our steps, and with your continued partnership, we will see the vision of a permanent home for Feed My Sheep Ministries become a reality.
